Version 1.4.9

  • Provide ability to specify file containing GLoSS Windows registry entries to be merged instead of specifying Gallery settings in the installer (use /REG=regfile.reg on the command line where regfile.reg is a registry file in the same folder as the installer).

Version 1.4.8

  • Fixed a small number of miscellaneous potential crashes.
  • Removed Google Maps widget, which has been problematic at best, and in limited testing recently, hasn't been working at all.
  • Provided option to not change desktop regularly. This allows users to just use the GLoSS Desktop Changer to display random images in the Image widget only, and provide quick System Tray access to GLoSS settings.

Verion 1.4.7

  • Fix for bug where retrieving a random image from among the last X albums wouldn't work when GLoSS was offline (either manually, or because there was no Internet connectivity).

  • Disable "New Album" button on Upload form if not writeable album is selected.
  • GLoSS now impersonates GalleryRemote's User Agent string to avoid some spurious 403 errors from some G2.2 installations.

  • GLoSS now supports and has been tested against G2.2RC1. The Gallery2 ImageBlock module is now only required for installations running a Remote Protocol older than 2.10 (i.e. versions of Gallery2 prior to G2.2RC1).

  • Local caching of images can now be disabled; disabling caching however means that a lot of GLoSS functionality e.g. dependant on EXIF info etc is no longer available.
  • Bug fixed where browsing Gallery for images was displaying one fewer image than was in the album.
  • Screensaver fade between images now includes dynamic zooming into position.
