Download the current version of the screensaver from here: GLoSS-1.5.0-Setup.exe

Run the GLoSS installer, and follow the self-explanatory screens displayed in the installation wizard.
You will be prompted to enter some initial information, including the URL to your Gallery2 installation, and a username and password if required to access your Gallery. All the other settings should be reasonably self-explanatory.
After entering all desired settings, click the Finish button to install GLoSS.

After GLoSS has been installed, you have the option to immediately start the GLoSS Desktop Changer and/or configure the Screen Saver. If you choose to configure the Screen Saver, a dialog similar to the following will appear:

The settings should be pretty self-explanatory - the main one is the path to the main folder of your Gallery 2 installation.
The GLoSS Desktop Changer will sit in your System Tray and can be configured in a similar manner to the screensaver by right-clicking on the GLoSS icon.
The Desktop Changer "widgets" can be moved and resized by holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard while using your mouse over the widgets.

If you have any issues, a useful tool for analysing problems is DebugView from Microsoft, which can be used to give you a detailed log of what gloss.scr or GLoSS.exe is doing.
The GLoSS Desktop Changer also incorporates some error reporting functionality in the unlikely event of an unexpected error occurring; in this instance, a report can be automatically sent back to the GLoSS developer (only with permission of the user).
